The ISANGYUN Competition has been held annually in November since 2003, alternating between violin, cello, and piano disciplines. Additionally, it is organized to honor the great Korean composer
Isang Yun, promote cultural exchange through music between nations, and support talented young musicians worldwide. Accredited as a member of the World Federation of International Music
Competitions (WFIMC) in 2006, it gained the honor of being the first in Korea and the second in Asia to receive such recognition.
The jury of the ISANGYUN Competition consists of distinguished musicians and music educators from various countries worldwide, ensuring fairness in assessment by representing different continents
according to their nationalities. Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, the ISANGYUN Competition has grown into a competition that captures the attention of young musicians worldwide.
