People and Venue

The German journalist, Eleonore Büning, described the Tongyeong Concert Hall as 'one of the most beautiful concert halls ever.' Opened in 2014, this music hall was designed in a shoebox form, accommodating 1,300 seats and boasting impeccable acoustics. Nestled under a seagull-shaped roof, the Tongyeong Concert Hall has firmly established itself as Korea's premier classical concert venue, renowned for its exceptional acoustics.

In addition to the main Concert Hall, the venue features the versatile Black Box designed for various performances and events. With retractable seats, this space offers two configurations, allowing for distinct experiences: with a partition between the auditorium and the stage, and without.
